M15 Star Cluster - Metal Print

What would the sky night look like from a planet orbiting one of the 100,000 stars in a cluster like this? Isaac Asimov certainly never saw a globular cluster this well- and yet his facile mind probably did imagine something even greater. Indeed, he found the idea of these clusters so compelling that he built a short story with one as a central construct (Nightfall). Perhaps this image pays homage to that creative vision. M 15 is one of the more remote globular star clusters at a distance of 40,000 light years from Earth.
